Don’t know who Deena is? She’s only owns the American record for the women’s marathon and is the proud owner of a bronze medalist from the 2004 Olympic Marathon. The UW women’s cross-country team continues its win streak, having snagged titles at both the Pac-10 and West Regional meets in the past month. On Monday they’ll be the overwhelming favorites as they step to the line of the NCAA cross-country championships in Terre Haute, IN. The Husky men will also be there. This will be the second year in a row that both teams have qualified. For updates on the teams and the race, go to:
