Sam (Niles) Leishman…For not only taking over, but owning the job of water station coordinator! Rumor has it that she’s been doing such an amazing job that she’s being considered for an executive level water station position! Whatever you do…Don’t leave us, Sam! You’re the greatest at this job!!!
Thanks to everyone who helped with the Expo! We had an amazing group of people who stepped up to help out: Gary Lanis, Al Alquist, Tess Brown, Marty Chakoian, Shirley Schultz, the Whitacres, Terry Way, Mari-Jo Fraser Lynne Sloan, Mikki Dailey, Jason Stahl, and Julie Collier. Thanks for taking the time to share the Team Transplant spirit with the rest of the running/walking community!
Everyone who helped with the post-race party….Janette Morantes, Cathy Seifert, Julie Sprinkle, Tami Sadusky, Mike Anthony, Susan Bussell, and Lenore Miller… Thanks for making our post-race/end-of-the-year celebration such a special event! (please let me know if I left someone out!)
A Big Thank You goes to Erin Younger, Ed Liebow, and their daughter, Nabina for making the Burke Museum possible! What a wonderful venue…and so cool to finish the day not only feeling stronger, but also a little smarter!
And a HUGE thanks to everyone who helped out during the race…Mikki Daily, Susan Bussell, James and Ida Boecksteigel, Janette Morantes, Katie Folk-Way, Bob Brown, Terry Way, and Andy Deckert, who all were there to help out along the race course and at the finishline. I certainly appreciated knowing that we had such a strong crew keeping an eye out for our finishers! And, finally, to Tess Brown who made darn sure we had a picture of every single person on the team!
